  Description
    Abstract:
      This coverage was created by selecting live tributaries
      canals and surface water features from TIGER files placed over
      Digital Ortho Quarter Quads in the  District.  Any
      water features missing from the TIGER files that were present
      on the DOQQ or another source from the District were added.
    Purpose:
      The purpose of this coverage is to determine the
      locations of live tributaries, canals and other surface water features
      in the desginated District.
Supplemental Information:  This coverage was digitized in UTM, NAD83 and was re-projected using the ARCInfo PROJECT command to Stateplane, NAD83 for use in the Platte River Cooperative Hydrology Study.

DATA_QUALITY_INFORMATION

  Attribute_Accuracy
    Attribute_Accuracy_Report:
      (taken from TIGER metadata)
      TIGER coverages are based on USGS 1:100,000 DLG's, USGS
      1:24,000 quadrangles, and the Census Bureau GBF/DIME files.
      For features based on DLG files, the positional correctness of the
      information is no greater than the establiched National Map
      Accuracy standards for 1:100,000-scale maps from USGS, thus
      it is not suitable for hig precision measurement applications or other
      that may require highly accurate measurements of the earth's
      surface.  This coverage merely consists of features clipped
      from TIGER files.
  Logical_Consistency_Report:
      Tests performed on the TIGER
      data included source material selection and evaluation checks,
      quality control checks and independant reviews by local and
      tribal leaders of maps produced from the Census TIGER
      database and staff reviews of computer-performed operations.
      No tests were performed on the clipped information.
  Completeness_Report:
      Live Tributaries, canals, ditches and rivers
      were clipped out of the original TIGER coverage to create this
      coverage for the specified District.
